There are recurring reports that wild small animals are being tormented. An example that TV4 previously told about is in Karlskoga, where over 30 small animals had to be euthanized after children used them as footballs.
According to psychologist Martin Forster, torturing animals is an unusual behavior among children, but some children may find it more difficult to empathize.
– There can be games that get out of hand and that there is a group dynamic that causes you to be drawn into such a game.
