One look at his ice-cold, scowling face is enough to see Giancarlo Esposito in the role of drug lord Gus Fring one of the best serial villains of all time to crown. Following his iconic role, the Breaking Bad star played similarly villainous characters in The Mandalorian and The Boys.
In the future, however, we might see a new, unfamiliar side of Esposito. The Breaking Bad star has now confirmed first Marvel talks and is clearly teasing his dream role.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Patrick Stewart slipped back into his prime role as Professor X from the X-Men films. Thanks to the multiverse, this character could in the future though filled with a new star will. And this is exactly where Giancarlo Esposito comes into play.

The Breaking Bad actor has now confirmed he’s in talks with Marvel for a role in the superhero universe, according to The AV Club. He did not reveal any further details about the conversation, but he made no big secret about his Marvel dream role: Esposito would love to play Professor X!
So far, no new X-Men movie has been announced for the MCU. But since we’re definitely getting a new Fantastic Four movie with fresh stars in Phase 6, a Reboot of the popular Mutant:innen also come to us.
