Once a year, hundreds of people head to the small town of Bath, Illinois, to participate in a unique competition, to say the least, called the Redneck Fishing Tournament.
The competition was started 17 years ago to clear out the invasive Asian carp, which threatens the area’s lakes.
The participants are armed with nets and try to catch the fish the seconds they are in the air.
