Amersfoort – Staatsbosbeheer warns road users for crossing deer in nature reserves. At the moment it is rutting season, or mating season for the ungulates. Males run blindly after the females when they see one, causing them to suddenly cross the road. Road users are therefore urged to pay close attention and to moderate speed in nature and forest areas.
