Man charged after police called twice to same address
A 62-year-old man is facing charges after Norfolk OPP were called to the same address twice.
On Monday at about 11:40 am, police investigated a complaint at a Forestry Farm Road home in Charlotteville.
The accused was arrested and charged with criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate.
Just after 3 pm, police received a second call to attend the same residence.
The same man was arrested and charged with assault and fail to comply with an undertaking.
$18,000 irrigation system stolen from field
Norfolk OPP are investigating the theft of an irrigation system.
Police were called to an address at 4th Concession Road, South Walsingham on Tuesday afternoon.
Police determined that between July 26 and Aug. 2, a Cadman irrigation system, valued at about $18,000, was taken from the property.

Thief takes tools from trailer
Police are investigating after power tools valued at about $2,000 were taken from a trailer in Simcoe.
Norfolk OPP were called to a home on Luscombe Drive on Wednesday and determined that someone broke into a locked trailer on the property at about 3:30 am on Tuesday.

Remove valuables from vehicles, say police
Norfolk OPP are urging people to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables from them after a reported theft.
Police were called on Wednesday about the theft of a black fanny pack containing currency, along with personal and financial information, from a vehicle on Windham Road 11.

Paint sprayer taken from trailer
Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft of a paint sprayer from a locked trailer on Ireland Road in Simcoe.
Police say it was stolen sometime between July 29 and Aug. 1 from the property of a house currently under construction. The paint sprayer is valued at about $2,500.
