(Finance) – German production up in June 2022. According to the German Statistical Office Destatis, industrial production showed a monthly increase of 0.4%, after -0.1% in May (figure revised by a preliminary + 0.2%). The figure is also higher than analysts’ estimates, who had forecast a drop of 0.3%.
Every year one highlights shrinkage of 0.5% from -1.7% previously.
The data that excludes energy and buildings records an increase of 0.7%. Energy production was unchanged, while that in construction fell by 0.8%.
