The young sea turtle Titan – the world’s toughest?

Titan has been damaged by a boat propeller, had a piece of his front fin bitten off by a shark, and defended himself against another shark attack. Two fishermen in New Jersey, USA, became the sea turtle’s rescue and took him to the rehabilitation center Sea Turtle Recovery.

After rehabilitation, Titan has now been allowed to return to the sea, along with seven other turtles. Over the years, the center has released 85 animals back into the sea.

Most of the turtles have fallen victim to the cold, after staying too long in colder water during the winter months. Others have been run over by boats or injured by sharks.
