There is a heavy fire in an industrial area in Kniva outside Falun. The alarm came in just after 3pm on Monday and the rescue service is now working with several units on site to get the fire under control.
According to the emergency services, it is, among other things, a gas warehouse that is on fire. No person shall remain in the building.
VMA issued
A so-called VMA, important notice to the public, is issued which means that everyone living in the area is asked to stay indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation.
Road users on national highway 69 are asked until further notice to choose another route.
