A fire broke out in a part of the movie studios Cinecitta in Rome, the capital of Italy.
According to the reports in the Italian press, a fire broke out in the famous film studio Cinecitta in Rome in the afternoon, for an unknown reason.
While the “Renaissance Florence” and “Assisi” sets were rendered unusable in the fire, some of the studios where some well-known television productions such as “Someone Is Watching Us” were shot, were damaged.
Firefighters got the fire under control in the evening. While no one was injured in the fire, smoke was seen from different parts of the city.
In the news in the press, it was stated that there was a significant increase in the number of fires in Rome and its surroundings this year.
Among the reasons for such frequent fires in the capital are the extreme heat, as well as the suspicion that some mafia formations set fire to forested lands. Investigation of some fires by judicial authorities continues. (AA)
