According to the statement made by the Pakistani army, a group of military personnel visited the region by helicopter to examine the aid activities initiated due to the flood in Balochistan province. After the examination, the helicopter carrying 6 soldiers, including Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali, moved towards Karachi.
“WORRYING”
After 6 hours passed after leaving Balochistan, the army could not hear from the helicopter and started a search and rescue operation.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a statement on Twitter, described the disappearance of the helicopter as “worrying”.

The province of Balochistan was the most affected by heavy rains. Across the state, 10,129 homes were damaged and 3,406 homes were completely destroyed.
While 16 bridges and 640 kilometers of highways were damaged due to the rains, more than 20 thousand farm animals perished.
SECOND VISIT FROM THE PRIME MINISTER
Cracks have formed in 7 dams in the state.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif went to Balochistan for the second time in the last week with the delegation accompanying him.
