At 1st of August, 31,535 new people tested positive to the coronavirus is a drop of 37% in one week. “In week 29 (from July 18 to 24, 2022), the decrease in the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 was confirmed on national territory with a drop in incidence rate by 34% and positivity rate by 3.7 points. However, virological indicators remained at high levels in all regions and age groups” noted Public Health France in its last epidemiological point of July 28. “The indicators Hospitals were also highbut a decrease of new hospitalizations started in Week 28 (-4%)“adds the health organization.
