On Saturday evening, a decision on mandatory evacuation of civilians in the region was announced by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
In his nightly address to the nation, President Zelenskyy says that hundreds of thousands of people, including tens of thousands of children, are still in combat zones in the eastern Donbass region. On Friday, six civilians were killed and 15 injured in Russian attacks, Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said.
– The more people who leave the Donetsk region now, the fewer people the Russian army will be able to kill.
