USA in June personal expenses and income expected above

(Finance) – US household expenses rose more than expected in June, as did income. According to Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) of the United States, i personal consumption (PCE) they rose by 1.1% after the + 0.3% of the previous month (revised data from + 0.2%) and are compared with the + 0.9% estimated by analysts.

THE personal income they recorded an increase of 0.6%, compared to expectations of + 0.5%, and compared to the previous + 0.6% (figure revised by a preliminary of + 0.5%).

The PCE price index core, a measure of inflation, shows a positive change of 1% over the month (+ 0.6% the previous month and + 0.9% expectations) and increases by 6.8% over the year in line with the consensus forecasts (+ 6.3% the previous month).
