A man in his 40s had to be taken to hospital by ambulance after he was hit with a stick outdoors in Norrtälje late Saturday evening. The extent of the damage is unclear.
After the incident, the police stopped a car in the vicinity and arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of serious assault.
The man was released later during the night, but the suspicions against him remain, the police write on their website.
