Biden grants aid to Kentucky

The state’s governor, Andy Beshear, says the victims have lost everything and the recovery will be long. 25 people have so far been confirmed dead, and the rescue work is ongoing.

“What they are experiencing on site is incredibly stressful and difficult. We thank everyone involved for their tireless efforts,” says the governor in a statement.
