At half past ten on Friday evening, the police were alerted to a violent crime north of Luleå. The majority of police resources participated in the case, including dog handlers and a police helicopter.
One man was taken to Sunderby Hospital and another man was detained at the scene. The man was later arrested on suspicion of serious assault and the public prosecutor has now taken over the preliminary investigation.
Both the victim and the suspected perpetrator are adult men. There is currently no information on the victim’s injuries.
