The first episodes have already aired, kicking off the zombie series finale, but there are still a few left before bidding farewell to Daryl, Negan, Aaron or Gabriel. The last episodes of The Walking Dead will be broadcast from October 3, 2022.

- Season 1 : Humanity has been ravaged by an epidemic. The planet is now invaded by zombies. Officer Rick Grimes arrives in Atlanta, looking for his son and his wife. There he meets other survivors who fight against the undead. Six episodes, aired in 2010.
- Season 2 : The survivors led by officer Rick Grimes try to survive against the walkers. Faced with this increasingly hostile environment, they discover the Greene farm, and learn more about the origins of the epidemic that has ravaged the population. Thirteen episodes, broadcast in 2011-2012.
- Season 3: The Greene farm attacked by the living dead, Rick and the other survivors find refuge in a prison. Andrea and Michonne meet the Governor, leader of the town of Woodbury. Sixteen episodes, broadcast in 2012-2013.
- Season 4: A new epidemic and prowlers threaten Rick’s group, entrenched in the prison. For his part, the Governor is preparing to attack our heroes. Sixteen episodes, broadcast in 2013-2014.
- Season 5: Rick and his group of survivors are locked up in Terminus. The events will lead them to the Saint-Sarah church, of Gabriel, but also to the Grady Memorial Hospital where Beth is. But Gareth and his cannibal group reappear.
- Season 6 : After joining the Fellowship of Alexandria, Rick and his friends must face off against the Wolves, only to come face to face with the members of the Hill and the Saviors, led by the terrifying Negan. Sixteen episodes, aired from 2015 to 2016.
- Season 7 : Negan spreads fear within Rick and his group, after executing major characters. Very weakened, they will however try to rebel against the leader of the Saviors. Alexandria has no choice but to join forces with the Hill and the Kingdom.
- Season 8 : Alexandria, the Hill, and the Kingdom unite to wage war against the Saviors. The confrontation between Rick and Negan is inevitable.
- Season 9 : The war between the Alliance and the Saviors ended a year and a half ago. The survivors try to rebuild a semblance of civilization… but this is without counting on internal tensions, and the arrival of a new danger: the Whisperers.
- Season 10 : The population of Alexandria and the Hill follow the rules of the Whisperers, respecting the boundaries imposed by the Alpha group. But when a satellite crashes on the border, our heroes cross to put out the fire, starting a war against the Whisperers.
- Season 11 : to come (24 episodes)
The Walking Dead is entitled to a season 11, which is the last of the series. Composed of 24 episodes, it is broadcast from August 23, 2021, with a second part scheduled for the year 2022. We only know that the faithful of The Walking Dead will finally discover the Commonwealth, a huge community. This final season will also have to conclude all the intrigues related to the different characters.
The apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead has developed through several series derived from that featuring the adventures of Rick, Daryl or even Carol and Michonne.
