This active participation of women alongside armed terrorist groups takes several forms, according to Salimata Nebié Conombo, Minister of Gender and Family.

The extent of this involvement of women in the terrorist attacks in Burkina Faso worries the authorities of the transition, who urge them to abandon the armed struggle.
