Gmail’s new interface design has been opened to all users. Thus, a new era has begun in the interface renewal process, which we have been following closely since February. The company said the new design is now available to all Gmail users.
Gmail’s new design combines Meet, Chat and Spaces into one menu for quick access as part of the overall experience. Along with the Mail option, the Meet, Chat and Spaces options are located in this menu on the left. The overall design bears the traces of Google’s design language Material Design 3.
HERE IS THE NEW STATE OF GMAIL
What’s new in Gmail doesn’t stop there. Gmail also helps you find exactly what you’re looking for in search results.
On the other hand, with Material Design 3, the edges of the blocks that separate all sections are much more rounded in the new design, in which the elements in blue instead of white gain weight.
IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO RETURN GMAIL! SO HOW?
Google also offers an option for those who do not find the change in Gmail’s appearance positive. At least for now, you can stop using this design and revert to the old look of Gmail. Here are the things you need to do:
GO BACK TO THE OLD DESIGN IN GMAIL
- Go to Settings at the top right.
- In the Quick Settings menu, press Return to Original Gmail view.
- Click Reload in the window that opens.
