A woman in her 30s reported at four o’clock on Thursday morning that she had been raped outdoors near the cathedral in Visby. A 25-year-old suspect was arrested in his absence and could be arrested later in the day.
According to Helagotland, there have recently been several suspected cases of rape on the island.
