ASPI, 1st half profit rises to 596 million euros

(Finance) – ASPI closed the first half with a profit of 596 million eurosan increase of 408 million euros compared to 188 million in the first half of 2021. The profit for the period attributable to the Group amounted to 591 million euros.

Mobility in the first half of 2022 was affected by the effects of the new pandemic wave that began at the end of 2021. Traffic grew by 23.1% compared to the first half of 2021, but remains at lower levels than in the pre-pandemic period (-4.4 % compared to the first half of 2019).

The total operating revenues in the first half of 2022 is equal to 1,938 million euros and increased by 279 million euros compared to the comparative period (1,659 million euros). THE toll revenue are equal to 1,744 million euro, an increase of 281 million euro compared to the first half of 2021 (1,463 million euro) and an increase of 296 million euro net of the contribution of Autostrade Meridinali in both periods. THE net operating costs they amount to 795 million euros, down by 37 million euros compared to the first half of 2021 (832 million euros).

EBITDAequal to 1,143 million euros, an increase of 316 million euros compared to the first half of 2021 (827 million euros). EBIT it is therefore equal to 830 million euros and records an increase of 275 million euros compared to the first half of 2021 (555 million euros).

Operating Cash Flow (FFO) equal to 514 million euros (367 million euros in the first half of 2021). The financial situation of the Group as at 30 June 2022 presents a Net financial debt equal to 7,951 million euros, down by 295 million euros compared to December 31, 2021 (8,246 million euros).
