Just two weeks after US President Joe Biden’s visit to Jerusalem, the Israeli army launches a media offensive. Gestures intended to build trust with the Palestinians. But at the same time, a military source unveiled photographs which, according to the Israeli army, prove that Hamas continues to use the proximity of civilian sites to store explosives and weapons.

Israel announces that starting next month, the West Bank Palestinians will be able to travel abroad via Ramon airport in southern Israel. Until now, they had to pass through Jordan for their air travel.

A measure which, according to a senior Israeli army officer, will be implemented next month for a limited number of destinations, such as Turkey, on an experimental basis for a period of two months.
Also under consideration: gas for Gaza. Provided by Israel and financed by a foreign source, this project could solve the energy problems of the Palestinian enclave.
In the same breath, the Israeli army is showing the media what it considers evidence of Hamas’ use of civilian sites. Aerial photographs and video of the entrance to tunnels near schools, a hospital and a soft drink factory. According to the military official, these tunnels are used to store explosives and weapons in the heart of civilian infrastructure.
