In early July, a woman ran forward and pushed down an elderly man in his 60s on the subway track in Hökarängen, which is located in southern Stockholm. Seconds later the train arrived.
Now the man’s plaintiff’s counsel, Carl-Albin Rudolfsson, is commenting on the incident.
– He is suddenly pushed from behind and falls helplessly onto the track.
Was taken to hospital
After the incident, the man was admitted to the emergency room and underwent 10 days of rehabilitation.
– He is still taken in today and it is a trauma for him. He suffered fractures in his hand, wounds to his head and hands, says Rudolfsson.
The woman who put the man down is charged with attempted murder.
