In the latest installment of The Stream, we take a look back at the best films released exclusively on a streaming service in 2022. The result is definitely one unexpected top 10: Since Netflix’s expensive, complex productions were disappointing, there are a few smaller films in the list.
The streaming year was in the film space very varied. A red panda has thrown Toronto into chaos while a princess struggled from the top floor of a tower to the ground floor. We were also able to experience the first moon landing through children’s eyes and received an amusing Jackass encore.
