Even the director regrets the film

Few major franchises have received as many new opportunities as Terminator. The sci-fi action story centered around Arnold Schwarzenegger’s time-traveling machine heroes has become the same over the past 15 years restarted three times. The most recent flop was particularly bitter: Terminator 6: Dark Fate, a disaster in every respect.

The sequel was not convincing either qualitatively or financially. It should be about the real Acting continuation of the first two parts. Even Linda Hamilton returned as Sarah Connor. Finally, Dark Fate ranks as another big disappointment in the row, which had to cope with a few cucumbers.

As Deadline reports, director Tim Miller (Deadpool) spoke at a panel at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend Defeat of Terminator 6: Dark Fate voiced. He doesn’t seem to have fond memories of the film either.

I approached it with the rock-solid nerd belief that if I make a good film that I want to see for myself, the result will be convincing. I was wrong. It was one of those damn eureka moments, but in a bad way because the movie sucked.

Apart from the disappointing reactions that Terminator 6: Dark Fate has drawn, are above all the box office result devastating. With a budget of about $190 million, the film only grossed $62 million in the US (the most profitable market for the studio). Worldwide it comes to 261 million US dollars. That’s not a win for a franchise of this magnitude, though.
