Over 3.7 million Ukrainian refugees have received temporary protection status in Europe since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February, the UN refugee agency UNHCR announced in its latest report.
By far, Poland has given shelter to the most refugees at around 1.2 million. In Sweden, roughly 40,000 have received protection.
In total, almost six million refugees from Ukraine have been registered in Europe, including in Russia.
