“For example, we would prefer to be open one day a week as standard,” says Sophie Kramer, secretary of the foundation management of Stoomgemaal Teylingens. “But that’s not possible now. There are too few people.” The burden is now always on the same people and that is heavy, says Kramer. “We need people who run the machine, and therefore also know something about technology, and people who want to host and tell stories. And we are still looking for people for our website.”
