In February, police intervened against a man in Eskilstuna who was to be taken into custody for drunkenness. But the man was uninterested in cooperating. He is said to have threatened the police with death, violently resisted and bit one of them on the finger – and now he is being prosecuted, reports SVT Nyheter Sörmland.

According to the indictment, he has threatened to kill two police officers and their families and hinted that they will be visited by people connected to serious crime.

Once inside the police station, the suspect allegedly also bit a police officer on the finger. The bite caused a wound and pain, and afterwards the sensation has partially disappeared in the area of ​​the bite.

The man is charged with violent resistance, threats against an official and violence against an official. He is said to have made certain concessions during interrogation.
