(Finance) – Medical, Italian integrated biomedical and MedTech group, has acquired 51% of the share capital of Spindial, a company specialized in the marketing and technical assistance of medical devices for hospital and home dialysis and in the management of dialysis centers.
The acquisition of Spindial contributes to the growth path of the Medica Group, envisaged since the listing on Euronext Growth Milan, which will thus be able to integrate the high commercial skills of Spindial with the broad range of Medica products and strengthen its presence on the market Italian. Spindial’s revenues at 31 December 2021 amounted to approximately € 15.5 million and adjusted EBITDA (which does not include non-recurring charges) to approximately € 2.0 million, with growth prospects in the short-medium term both in terms of turnover volumes both in terms of EBITDA and EBITDA margin.

With the acquisition of Spindial SpA, Dialpoint, 60% owned by Spindial, will also enter the scope of consolidation of Medic, whose revenues as of December 31, 202 amounted to approximately € 0.8 million with an EBITDA of approximately € 0.1 million of Euro.
