The Green Party wants to see an immediate stop to all industrial trawling in the Baltic Sea. According to the MP, the ban will only apply to the large-scale fishmeal and oil industry, not the small-scale fishing for consumption.
At the same time, the party wants the entire Baltic Sea to be protected. The protection must remain until the ecosystem has recovered.
– The Baltic Sea is a unique sea area, it is a resource that gives us so much but which we are completely destroying. We have an acute crisis, says spokesman Per Bolund.
