Netflix has unveiled its August schedule. Many new films and series await us in the next few weeks. The biggest highlight is the comic adaptation Sandman. Hollywood has been trying to do that for over 30 years nightmarish fantasy epic by Neil Gaiman to the big screen. Now it’s coming to Netflix as a series.

Another original should also be interesting for fantasy and horror fans: Day Shift. Jamie Foxx slips into the role of one in the action film conceived by the John Wick team hardened vampire hunter. The actor starred in a Netflix film two years ago, namely Project Power.

And then there’s the grand finale of the erotic series 365 Days. The first part was released on Netflix in 2020. With 365 Days – This Day appeared in April the second. The final act follows a few months later: 365 Days – one more day. Even by Netflix standards, this brisk release strategy is remarkable.
