The 25-year-old striker left Damallsvenskan and Rosengård in July 2021 for a foreign adventure in English Everton in the Women’s Super League. Despite a two-year contract, it was only one year abroad.
However, the return to Sweden did not turn into Rosengård – as the striker is now presented by Häcken.
“Hopefully I can come in and score goals and assists and help the team get the draws to a win instead,” she said in a statement on the club’s website.
Her previous stay in Damallsvenskan and Rosengård was a success. Shooting queen both 2019 and 2020 but a concussion limited her to a goal of six games before moving to Merseyside.
“She has shown that she is a goal scorer for many years. We are very happy to have such a qualified and talented player here, which is another sign that we are building something really good in the club”, says Christian Lundström , responsible for women elite in Häcken.
It was a perfectly okay first season in England for Anvegård who struggled with another concussion. She scored seven goals and was the team’s top scorer in all tournaments.
Everton struggled and finished in tenth place, scoring just 18 goals in the league.
