In the new MMORPG Lost Ark there is an opportunity to use one of the Powerpass functions. You can activate these directly in the character overview if you meet the requirements. Here at MeinMMO we explain what that is and how it works.
What is a power pass? Power Passes in Lost Ark are a new feature that made their debut in the beta.
These passes ensure that your second and third characters reach the endgame of Lost Ark faster and you don’t have to grapple with the level phase of the MMORPG forever.

There are also various power passes that you can activate as soon as you have reached a certain point in the story. For example, once you’ve reached level 50 and completed Vern’s story, you’ll get one of the passes for free. If you use this one, you get another one for free.
At least that applies to the passes that you can earn in-game and through events. You can use the passes you buy in the shop at any time and immediately. It doesn’t matter how far you’ve progressed. Aside from the passes, there is another way to level automatically. Without any real money.
In addition, thanks to the Express Events, there is currently a new power pass in the game that even brings your character to the level of Punika, i.e. Gearscore 1,302. In order to get it, you must have already played through the Punika continent with another character. You have until the September update for that, when the free pass will disappear again.
The previous event where you could loot a Feiton Pass that got you to Gearscore 960 is no longer in the game. If you couldn’t use it, you won’t get another chance to do so. Instead, the new Express Event will start on July 20th, which can even bring you up to 1,370.

How does this work?
What does a power pass give you? If you activate a power pass on one of your characters, it immediately jumps to the specified level and receives equipment corresponding to its level. So you can then jump straight into the endgame content with a newly created character.
You’ve also completed the story up to a certain point. So nothing is stopping you from getting started right away. In addition, you will receive cosmetic items if you play some kind of additional tutorial, but you can skip this.
How does this work? You can only use a power pass after you have already completed the story up to the point of the pass with another character. That’s why many people are initially disappointed when they click on the fat, glowing power button in the character menu. An exception to this are the passes that you can buy in the shop.
In order to finally be able to use the first power pass, you have to do the following:
How do you get the power pass? The Power Passes have also been available for purchase in the Lost Ark shop since July 20th. You don’t need any prerequisites for this. You can use the passes you have acquired immediately and start the MMORPG directly with a character in the endgame. Each level of the passes costs 1,100 Royal Crystals.
So if you’re starting from scratch, the Vern Pass will cost you 1,100 Crystals and the Punika Pass will cost you 5,500. However, if you already have a character in Rohendel and buy the Punika Pass, it will only cost you 3,300 crystals since you have already completed Vern and Rohendel.
Aside from the purchase method, you get a Vern Pass for free once you complete the story of Vern with a character. If you use this, you will receive a second Vern Pass for free.
You can also get a free Punika Pass in the ongoing Hyper Express event until September 28th, but only if you already have a Punika character on your account.
How long does it take you to level 50? It is questionable, however, whether you really have to pay attention to the power pass as a new player. Because if you stumble through the world inexperienced, it will take quite a while before you can complete the story.
However, experienced players have already proven that they can complete the game’s main storyline in about two days. So here the power pass is within reach.
