Province of Utrecht – You’ve probably noticed, but it’s terribly hot today. For the second day in a row, the mercury in De Bilt officially reached tropical temperatures. Utrecht residents try to cope with the heat in all sorts of ways, for example by looking for cool places in the city. “It seems 20 degrees cooler here than outside,” says Maartje van Wijk, who went to work in the coolness of the Jacobikerk in Utrecht.
