In the UK and France, the temperature reaches up to 40 degrees and the high pressure is expected to pull in over Skåne on Tuesday and Wednesday, which offers sun and temperature between 24-34 degrees.
– Both Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny while the high pressure on Thursday is challenged by a low pressure from the west which gives a little more clouds and in the northern parts of Skåne there may be a few showers locally, says Emma Härenstam meteorologist on SVT.
– Tuesday gets 24-29 degrees and the heat continues into Wednesday which looks to be the week’s warmest day at 27-34 degrees. It will be warmest in the inner and northwestern parts as the wind is blowing from the southeast, Emma Härenstam continues.
– Then the night towards Thursday can in several places become a tropical night, when the lowest temperature does not fall below 20 degrees, mainly in the western parts. And Thursday will get more clouds and somewhat subdued heat, says Emma Härenstam.
From Friday onwards, the temperature is at a normal level around 20 degrees.
