Ethiopian Gotytom Gebreslase is the new marathon world champion. The athlete, who won the prestigious Berlin Marathon less than a year ago, won on Monday July 18 in Eugene (Oregon) in 2 hours 18 minutes and 11 seconds, a new World Championship record.
