The boy who is suspected of attempted murder and aggravated rape of a child in Skellefteå has been moved to another part of the country. The girl who was attacked in Skellefteå on July 7 is still being cared for in hospital, according to the prosecutor.

– The suspected boy is no longer in our police area but in another part of the country, says local police area chief Lars Westermark.

The reason is that there is a threat against the boy and his family and that there is concern among those who live in the area.

In an email to TT, prosecutor Irene Falk writes that the plaintiff is being cared for in hospital and that she has not been heard in the investigation. There are no plans to interrogate her at this time.

The girl is under 15 years old and she was found in a forest area in the district Morö Backe. She was taken to Norrland University Hospital in Umeå.
