Parks LGBT Diversity Index 2022 Generali Italia awarded as

(Finance) – Liberi e Uguali, the non-profit association created to help member companies understand and fully realize the potential of business related to the development of strategies and good practices respectful of the diversityacknowledged a General Italy two awards, testifying to the insurance company’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The sixth edition of the Parks LGBTA + Diversity Indexthe tool for measuring the success of companies in achieving the strategic goal of creating respectful and inclusive work environments for their employees, has in fact rewarded Generali Italia Wanda Bandini Ferroli as “Best Ally” and Employee Resource Group We Proud Italia as “Best LGBTA + Network”.

The employee of General Italy Wanda Bandini Ferroli, who distinguished herself and was awarded as “best ally”, ambassador of a message of inclusion, openness and positivity, has decided to be an ally by coming out as a sister of an LGBTA + person. The “allies” are in fact people who, while not personally recognizing themselves in the acronym LGBTA +are personally committed to fostering a climate of inclusion by carrying out a welcoming message.

Generali Italia’s WeProud Italia network has obtained the recognition as Best LGBTA + Networkborn with the aim of stimulating the culture of respect while building a path of sensitivity and skills. WeProud Italywe read in the motivation that led to the award, is characterized by the ability to generate emotional closeness even in professional relationships because it creates a climate of trust and sharing, in which each person is free to express themselves for who they are.

WeProud partnered with Future time And The Human Safety Net – the Generali Group Foundation created with the aim of unlocking the potential of people living in vulnerable conditions so that they can improve the living conditions of their families and communities – as part of the “A world of color” initiative.

The project involved approx 50 employees of the Generali Group in the creation of short videos that have seen them as protagonists in the reading of a fairy tale with the aim of transmitting messages positive on gender equality, identity of gender And interculturality to give the adults of tomorrow the best tools for an open, free and “colorful” vision of the world. The videos were disseminated in the 33 Ora di Futuro / THSN centers dedicated to vulnerable families with children aged 0 to 6.
