A detonation has taken place in an apartment building in Strängnäs. The alarm came in just before half past two during the night until Monday.
– You have heard a loud bang. A police patrol also heard this. What it is that has slammed is impossible to say, says Tobias Sundström, at the police.
The site has been cordoned off and the police have several resources in place that evacuate the residents while waiting for the national bomb shelter that has been called there.
– We are taking out people who live in these properties, says Tobias Sundström.
It is unclear how many were in the property, but there is no information about injured people.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into public destruction.
No person has been arrested.
