Twitch streamer reviews Modern Warfare 2

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Twitch streamer FIVEBYFIVEx has been invited to the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 playtest. A month later she is banned in Warzone. MeinMMO shows you what’s behind it:

Cheating is a big problem in many video games and Call of Duty: Warzone has also had to deal with nasty players who use unfair means.

Only recently, more and more players reported that the cheaters are back in Warzone and are up to mischief on the new map Fortunes Keep. Before that, it had been relatively quiet around cheaters in Warzone for a long time, since the anti-cheat measures of the ricochet system had done a good job.

“I’m open to PC checks”

Why was FIVEBYFIVEx banned? As the Twitch streamer FIVEBYFIVEx announced in a post on Twitter, she was banned in CoD: Warzone. The exact reason for the ban is unclear, but she explains the situation on the social network in more detail:

First she is said to have received a so-called shadow ban before she was then permanently blocked. In response to the ban, she said she had contacted Activision, but her efforts were unsuccessful. Activision has informed her that a ban in Warzone is final and will not be reversed if it turns out to be wrong.

FIVEBYFIVEx also says she has never cheated, used a virtual network (VPN), glitched, or done anything similar. In another comment under her post, she also writes that she is open to a PC check (via Twitter.com).

Finally, in another comment (via Twitter.com), the streamer decides that she has no choice and has to start over. She expresses that it feels unfair and annoys her, but can accept that the account is gone.

FIVEBYFIVEx also emphasizes that she does not want to incite hatred towards Activision with the tweet, nor do she want to get her account back.

In an almost 6-minute clip on Twitch, their view of the situation is explained in more detail. We have included the clip for you below:

Playtest at Infinity Ward Studios

What test was she invited to? FIVEBYFIVEx shared a vlog on Twitter on June 10, 2022 that she recorded during a stay at Infinity Ward’s studios. There, the streamer was allowed to take part in a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 playtest early on.

It is currently not known whether the ban could affect future participation in further playtests.

What are your thoughts on the situation? If the ban is actually proven wrong, should the ban be lifted even though company policy is that a ban is never revoked? Or do you think the ban should definitely remain in place?
