It was on Thursday night on July 7 when a girl was found badly injured in a forest area in the district Morö Backe in Skellefteå. A minor boy is suspected of the crime, but the prosecutor in the case has announced that the boy will undergo an age investigation as it is not certain that the age in the population register is correct.
– I understand the prosecutor’s and the police’s wonder because I know what he looks like. You have to make an age determination of him and it is a comprehensive medical examination where you look at different growth factors, says Leif GW Persson in Nyhetsmorgon.
GW guesses that the boy is in fact somewhere between 15 and 17 years old, and believes that it is of great importance for the legal handling of the case.
– If he is not a criminal, it will be a matter for the social authorities. If, on the other hand, he is 15 years old, then the usual device starts and he can be deprived of his liberty and even put in the finch.
