Utrecht – Many archaeological treasures are hidden under the Domplein. One of those treasures consists of the remains of a palace. Beneath the pubs in the corner of the square is now an entire underground system showing the pillars and walls of Lofen Palace. A Palace that stood here 1000 years ago and where the city rights of Utrecht were signed in 1122.
