Tivoli Friheden in Aarhus, Denmark, will reopen on Tuesday at the earliest, announces Henrik Ragborg Olesen, head of the amusement park. The park has been closed since Thursday, when a 14-year-old girl died in an accident on the Cobra roller coaster.
It is important that the employees can process the incident in peace and quiet, says Olesen.
– It is a process that is ongoing, so we do not know exactly when it will be.
The opening will take place in quiet forms, as people can come in for a few hours and walk around the park. No attractions will be in operation.
The cobra campaign Cobra has been closed permanently.
