In the city of Wuxi in the Jiangsu region of China on Friday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi received his Iranian counterpart. The two countries originally announced the 25-year cooperation agreement signed in March last year and announced their goals to tighten economic and political relations.
As part of the meeting, China also reiterated its support for Iran’s return to the 2015 nuclear deal. However, the Beijing administration once again criticized its sanctions against Iran after the US unilaterally withdrew from the agreement.
Within the scope of the 25-year cooperation agreement signed by China, which is subject to the unilateral sanctions of the USA in some areas such as Iran, with Iran, it is aimed to develop cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of energy, agriculture, infrastructure, health and culture.
