Urheilu asked about Junnila’s health before the Games.
– Do I have to answer this? Junnila answered after thinking for a moment.
Junnila has had injury concerns last fall and this spring.
Junnila has still made good results in the summer. He jumped his season’s best 192 at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku on June 14.
Junnila’s record on outdoor tracks is 195.
Although Junnila was enigmatic about her health situation, she assures that she is in a good mood at the World Championships.
– The preparation has gone really well.
Qualifying in mind
– I am not doing anything. I’m waiting for my legs to mature and heal.
Junnila has not set herself a performance goal. Everything is aimed at qualifying, Junnila, who grabbed the indoor EC bronze, underlines.
– I just focus on my own work. I try to make the best jumps possible.
What do you think of the finale?
– I will think about it after qualifying.
