But, as an anthology series, everything changes—except for creator and screenwriter Marc Cherry—changes in this sequel. Starting with the actors and the characters. The heroine, Alma, is played by actress Allison Tolman, whom viewers who saw the first season of Fargo and Good Girls will be able to recognize. Her enemy is played by Lana Parrilla, known for having played the Witch/Regina Mills in once upon a time. BK Cannon, who finds here one of his first major roles, embodies Dee, Alma’s daughter.
In Why Women Kill, we also find the Mexican actress Veronica Falcon, seen in Perry Mason and ozark, who lends her features to Catherine. Synopsis – The first season of Why Women Kill depicts the lives of three women living in the same house, in three different eras. The latter want revenge when they discover that their respective husbands are cheating on them. In season 2, we dive into the 1940s, discovering the daily life of Alma, a housewife who joins a gardening club, in which the rich Rita Castillo works. The latter married her husband for money, in the hope that he would die, without success. She therefore consoles herself in the arms of her young lover, who is himself in love with Alma’s daughter.
