On Thursday afternoon, a young man was found seriously shot, near a forest area at the metro station in Farsta Strand, which is located in southern Stockholm.
According to the police, several people had previously called in and alerted about bangs that were perceived as shots.
The gunshot wounded man who was in the 20-25 age group and was taken by ambulance helicopter to hospital. At 6 pm, it was established that the man had now died from his injuries.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into the murder.
