Conan Exiles is a popular survival game that has received new DLCs since its release in 2017. But with the latest features that Funcom presented for their title, the developers caused some players to be annoyed.
What features are we talking about? The developers of Conan Exiles announced that they would add a Battle Pass and an in-game shop for various items to the survival hit with the Age of Sorcery expansion for the first time.
On the game’s website, they wrote that the items included will be cosmetic only (via conanexiles.com).
There should be no items that empower the player in any way. That goes for both the Battle Pass and the in-game shop they call Bazaar.
In addition, the new Battle Pass is intended to replace the previous DLC system.

What is there to know about the Battle Pass? The Battle Pass is said to have 60 tiers that you level up by completing challenges. You get a reward for each level you level up.
You’ll level up even if you haven’t purchased the Battle Pass yet. For example, you could only buy it when you are already level 60. According to Funcom, you will still receive all the rewards for the levels you have reached up to that point.

What items does the Battle Pass contain? Funcom has posted a list of the first Battle Pass item categories on the Conan Exiles website, listing the following:
What are Crom Coins? The Crom Coins are a new currency introduced with the Battle Pass in Conan Exiles. According to Funcom, you get them every few levels of the pass.
What are the Crom Coins for? With the Crom Coins you can buy the next Battle Pass if you have completely played through the first or the previous one, according to the developer. The Crom Coins contained in it should be sufficient for this.
The idea behind it, as Funcom announced, is that theoretically you only have to purchase the first Battle Pass and can earn all the others.
However, there is still one catch: the Crom Coins are also the currency you use to pay in the new in-game shop.
How does the bazaar work? At the Bazaar you pay with Crom Coins, which you exchange for individual cosmetic items or bundles.
There is always a limited number of items in the Bazaar, but these will change over time.
