On Wednesday night, Sweden faced Switzerland, at Bramhall Lane in Sheffield, in the European Football Championship.
The first half came – after an initial penalty situation – to be a tight event, without any goal chances.
But at the beginning of the second half, the match came to life – for both teams. First, Fridolina Rolfö slipped through and placed 1-0 to Sweden, in the 53rd minute. But the reply came just two minutes later when Bachmann equalized with a nice lift.
After an intense period, with positions in both directions, Everton star Hanna Bennison, 19, was finally substituted for a cannonball and scored 2-1 in the far burgaveln – a result that would stand the match out, even if Blågult had bids for more with two conceded goals.
The last group match will be played by Sweden against Portugal, on Sunday.
