Lisa Dahlkvist wants to poke Magdalena Eriksson in Sweden’s must-win match against Switzerland.
The outcome makes expert colleague Daniel Nannskog react.
– Oh, oh !, he says.
Sweden won 1-1 in the European Championship premiere against the Netherlands and now there is much to suggest that there will be a goal difference deal for first place in the group. Sweden still have to face Switzerland and Portugal – two matches that on paper should give six points – and each goal is thus important in the two final group games.
The outcome before the must-win match
Sweden has been self-critical towards the effort in the premiere, and they especially want to see a higher ball tempo in the match against Switzerland, which is played on Wednesday night. And Lisa Dahlkvist, SVT expert during the championship and with over 100 international matches in her luggage, wants to see a change in the starting eleven.
Should Sweden switch to a four-back line, Dahlkvist wants to see Magdalena Eriksson, a big star in Chelsea, poked out of the center lock.
– I think we should have Nathalie Björn left in the starting eleven. I think you lose the nice plays she has otherwise. She can record the ball on Seger, Angeldahl and Asllani. She has a much better foot than Eriksson, which I would choose to remove, she says in SVT.
Nannskog shocked
Sweden chose to line up with a back line in the premiere, but now there is much to suggest a back line. And Dahlkvist’s desire to poke Eriksson surprised Daniel Nannskog.
– Uh-oh! You choose to take out “Magda” there ?, says a very surprised Nannskog.
Dahlkvist then explains his thought.
– I actually do. I do not think she was at her highest level, Björn would add more in this match. You can get a better passing game from below.
